About NIIMS
NIIMS began as the International Institute of Islamic Medicine (IIIM), founded to collect and share the story of Islamic medicine. Today, we're a network of physicians, historians, and educators working to bring that story to life, through our library, our traveling exhibits, our webinars, and our work with students and schools.
Our goal is simple: to show how much of modern medicine we owe to Islamic scholarship, and to help the next generation carry that discovery forward.
